Cheese started his career by going best-in-sweeps
at the 2009 national specialty. At the following year’s
national, he was awarded best-of-winners to finish his
championship, and also best-bred-by in show.
The end of 2011 saw Cheese at the top of the ranks,
as the number one Dachshund all coats, and a top ten
hound. Cheese was awarded best of variety at both the
2011
and 2012 Westminster kennel club dog shows.
This year we proudly welcomed Dr. Patrice Stephens
to the “Cheese factory”!
Patrice owned Cheese’s grandfather, and double-great
grandfather, who was group one at Westminster in 1998.
Both of these two dogs were multiple best in show win-
ners and number-one Dachshunds respectively.
We are proud to showcase such a wonderful repre-
sentative of the breed, with his exceptional attitude, type,
beautiful front and side-gait that is rarely seen in the
ring today.
We are excited that Cheese’s first litter is on the
ground and hope they continue to represent the breed
and fancy in such a positive manner.
