A TIME FOR GIVING THANKS
It’s that time of year when many of us will be spending time with family and friends over the Holidays, reflecting on life and looking ahead to the New Year.
As I reflect on Showsight — since our founding in 1992 by Joseph Neil McGin- nis & Duane Doll — I can’t help but feel very blessed. Blessed by the opportunity to have joined the family business where I worked my way up the ranks from Advertising Sales Associate to Chief Operating Officer and now, as Owner and Publisher of the magazine. I’ve learned a lot from Mr. McGinnis and Mr. Doll (and from our clients and co-workers) about the value of building a successful business that also builds last- ing relationships.
Our company’s core values (honesty, integrity, teamwork, community involvement, empathy, personal growth, responsiveness, quality, and communication) are what makes us who we are. I could not be prouder to be surrounded by so many good people. It is because of our people, our values, and our clients that Showsight has become a leader in the dog show magazine publishing space. We will never take this for granted. Our company’s culture will always encourage us to continually strive to make improve- ments for the betterment of the dog show community.
Our employees, including our contributing editors, have a combined total of over 1,000 years of knowledge and experience in the sport of dogs. We truly believe that this knowledge and experience, combined with our values and commitment, allows us to provide our clients with exceptional service. It is our wish to continue to grow and prosper with you.
My gratitude extends beyond our employees and clients to the many dog commu- nity organizations that we are able to serve by giving back to those who’ve blessed my family and the extended Showsight family. Thank you to all and may you all have a wonderful Holiday Season!
