And, 2019 Distinguished Research Partner, the American Bullmastiff Associa- tion, has supported canine health research through CHF since 1998 dedicated to pro- gram areas that include gastrointestinal health, oncology, and breed-specific cardi- ology research with investigation into sub- valvular aortic stenosis.
“The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, Berner Lovers, and the American Bullmastiff Association are vital partners in our efforts to prevent, treat and cure canine diseases,” states CHF Director of Programs & Operations, Andrea Fiumefreddo. “We value the support of the organizations, their boards and their members as we look for- ward to continued collaboration to benefit the health of dogs.”
The President’s Award and Distin- guished Research Partner Awards were pre- sented at CHF’s annual Canines & Cock- tails gala on December 12, 2019. The event is held each year in association with the AKC National Championship in Orlando, FL and brings together people passionate about dogs to celebrate annual achieve- ments in canine health research.
