Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Evaluations took place in the foyer. Mem- bership Education followed with a presenta- tion by Larry and Penny Dewey of the breed PowerPoint used for Judges Education.
The annual meeting, chaired by Presi- dent Gretchen Hofheins Wackerfuss, was followed by hospitality in the foyer.
On Thursday, the breed judging began with Judge Mr. John Ramirez. His win- ners were: Best of Breed, Best of Winners, Best Bred-By, and BNOH was KiDix Soul Sister, bred and owned by Kim Noel and Joanne Wilds; Best of Opposite Sex was Ch. Marlex Sunsprite Dream Maker, bred by Armando Angelbello and Marcia Tuck- er, and owned by Larry and Penny Dewey and Armando Angelbello; Winner’s Dog was Marlex Fired Up, bred by owner, Rick Ly, and M. Barnes, and owned by Armando Angelbello. Reserve WD and Best Puppy was Shaw’s Baby You Burned that Bridge, bred and owned by Peg Shaw. Reserve WB
was Valjalu’s Hot Cakes, bred and owned by Joan Krumm, Jacob Waters, Luke Waters, and Ashley Waters.
Select Dog was Ch. Winter’s Eagle Ring of Fire, and Select Bitch was GCH CH Marlex Sunprite Rose, bred by Armando Angelbello and Marcia Tucker, and owned by Armando Angelbello and Ann Parman.
Awards of Merit were: GCH CH Shad- owmist Pvt. Bailey of Munroc, owned by Phyllis and Martin Kalmes, Rhonda Cor- num, Cathy Beasley and Robert Hallahan; GCH CH Flashfires Factor This, bred and owned by Kim Swilling; GCH CH Dazl Reh Bold Summer Legacy, bred and owned by Lonnie and Rex Phillips; GCH CH Flashfires Fireball, bred by Kim Swiling and Ruth Tarlton, and owned by Kim Swilling; and Best Veteran Dog GCH CH Sultan’s Storm Watch. Best Stud Dog was GCH CH Dazl Reh Bold Summer Legacy.
In the evening was our Awards Banquet and Auction and a good time was had by all. We were wearing masks and our large tables had only five at each table.
The Regional Specialty was judged by Mr. Fred Bassett and the winners were: BOB GCH CH Cheristars I Am Cybill Shepherd; BW and WB was Fortin’s Perfect Cadence Stonebridge; Best of Opposite was Ch. Marlex Sunsprite Dream Maker; WD was Marlex Fired Up. Select Dog was Ch Spiva’s Pop a Top Again, bred by Joan Spiva and owned by Victoria Ford; Select Bitch was GCH CH Marex Sunsprite Dream Came True, bred by Armando Angelbello and Marcia Tucker, and owned by Arman- do Angelbello. Awards of Merit were Ch. Winter Eagle Ring of Fire; GCH CLLH Toykeepers Captain America, bred and owned by Aldine and Roni Aldeguer; GCH CH Flashfires Fire Ball; GCH CH Toy- keeper’s Special Addition, bred and owned by Aldine and Roni Aldeguer; GCH CH Shaw’s I am Destined to Reign, bred and owned by Peg Shaw; Best Puppy, Shaw’s Baby You Burned that Bridge.
